10.26.2008 - Open House

You're invited for a tour of our pond, land, and facilities.
Are you interested in fishing, hiking, hunting, sport or target shooting? How about the great outdoors? We have it all on our beautiful 350 acres located in Northern Dutchess County. Come and spend a day with us and see what it is all about! Bring a friend and the family. Children are welcome. Club members will be present to guide you and answer your questions.

9.21.2008 - .22 Woods Walk Shoot

Fall is almost here. Why not join us for our Fall .22 Woods Walk Shoot here at Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club. Enjoy the summer woods at its lushest with your family while it's here. Ask about our family discounts. We've set up silhouette targets at the berm, a paper target, and placed swinging targets along a trail in our woods. Please, our targets are designed for .22 rimfire standard velocity LR and smaller ammo only. Prizes are awarded for each age group. Open to the public. 9.14.2008 - 3D Bow Shoot

A hint of Fall is in the air. Time to sharpen your skills on full size targets in realistic settings. Join us for a 3D Bow Shoot here at Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club. We always adjust the course for a fun and challenging day of archery. Plenty of interesting shots. All ability levels will have fun. Open to the public for a small fee. 8.19-24.2008 - Dutchess County Fair Dates

When you go to the Duchess County Fair, stop by one of the longest continuous displays at the Fair, our display. We have shade most of the day, a display of animals, and a taxidermy display. Often Bill Newcomb will be tying flys and telling fish tales. More information and applications for membership will be available. Enjoy the Fair!


8.18.2008 - NYS DEC Announces Hunter Education Class Dates

The dates and locations for Hunter Ed, Bowhunter Ed, Trapper Ed, and Waterfowl Hunter Ed have been announced on the DEC website. Classes are listed for August through December.


6.14.2008 - New York State Rifle and Pistol Association Annual Meeting

NYSRPA is holding their annual meeting at the Wallkill Rod & Gun Club in conjunction with their annual chicken bake. The event is open to the public and all are welcome.


4.20.2008 - Trout Derby

Join us for our annual trout derby here at Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club. We've stocked our pond with lots of big hungry trout. Bring the whole family, prizes are awarded for each age group. Open to the public for a small entry fee. Join us for a day of fishing and family fun! More event details

3.26.2008 - American Red Cross Blood Drive

There will be a Blood Drive at Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club on March 26, 2008 from 2:30pm to 7:30pm. Please contact Bonnie Reyero at 845-876-3711 to schedule an

3.11.2008 - Trap 

Starting March 11th, Trap will be available at Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm till 8:00pm for a small fee. Trap Range


3.9.2008 - Maple Syrup Demo, Pancake Breakfast, and Open House

Come see maple trees being tapped and sap being boiled down. Enjoy local Maple syrup atop a stack of fresh pancakes. We'll be looking for you on March 9th from 9:00am till 1:00pm. For more details on our Pancake Breakfast:

2.23.2008 - Game Dinner

Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club will be holding our annual Game Dinner on February 23, 2008. We'll have a great dinner, bucket raffles, and a great time. The tickets went fast this year.
