3D Bow Shoots

NDRGC hosts monthly 3D Bow Shoots from March through September. We use Rinehart Targets and the settings are as realistic as you will encounter anywhere. The shoots are a great way to sharpen your archery skills. A standard target range is also provided. Members are able to use the course whenever it is set up. Trap

The trap range is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time (March-October). The cost is $5 per round for members; and $5.50 for their guests. Come join us and break a few clays!

Steel Plate Shoots

Started in 2014, our steel plate shoots were a big hit with our members so we will be having some public events going forward. Restricted to .22 pistol or rifle, scopes, red dots, or iron sights are welcome.  Please follow all NY State firearm regulations. Currently each shoot is limited to 50 shooters. Pre-registration is encouraged.

.22 Woods Walk Shoots

Events are held each spring and fall (check the calendar for dates!) and the course begins on the range and continues with set ups through our woods trails. The shoot is open to the public, and guided groups are led around the course.

Veterans Sportsman's Day

Northern Dutchess Rod & Gun Club presents the 2026 Veterans Sporting Day on Saturday, May 16th.
This free event is open to all veterans. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 35 participants. You are cordially invited to come and participate in any of the following stations: Archery, Black Powder, Indoor Range, Outdoor Range, Trap, Fishing. Try something new! Club members will be available for assistance as needed.

Breakfast and Lunch will be served. This is a complimentary event for veterans. Most activities and club grounds are accessible. Thank you for your service!

Winter Pistol League

The club runs a 10-week indoor .22 pistol league starting in January each year with a dinner at the end. Members are allowed to bring 2 guests with them.

Trout Derby
Every April the club hosts it's annual Trout Derby open to the public and is a big hit with kids of all ages!.  The pond is stocked with an assortment of rainbow, golden and brown trout and other sporting fish.  
Our 3 acre pond is stocked with trout several times a year to provide our members with year round fishing opportunities.

Game Dinner

Our annual game dinner features venison, elk, moose, caribou, alligator, pheasant, duck, bear, and other game as available, as well as bucket raffles and a silent auction.  

Pancake Breakfast/Maple Syrup Demo

Each spring, we tap trees and make our own syrup! Come to the annual Pancake Breakfast and see our demonstration on how maple syrup is made, enjoy a great breakfast thanks to our friends at Russell Farms, and meet club members and learn more about club activities at the open house. Dutchess County Fair

We have operated and maintained the Wildlife Exhibit since 1933 and it is a must see on every fair-goers agenda! Donations are gratefully accepted.

Blood Drive

The NDRGC and the American Red Cross are working together to Help Save Lives.  Help us fill the need for Blood during our Biannual Red Cross Blood Drive,
